The last design (also designed by myself) did get some recognition on Shelfbuzz for books "judged by their covers" but I have been feeling lately that it did not quite convey they noirish style that I so admire and attempt to simulate.
The design has been inspired by the classic noir movie titles of the 30s onwards, with just a splash of colour.
What do you think of it? How do you go about designing/getting designed covers for your work?
